Bantu Houses is a platform dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of African royal chief lines. It traces leadership from the first tribe founder to the modern heir, ensuring that historical and cultural heritage is well-documented and accessible. The project currently focuses on the Sotho culture, with plans to expand to other Bantu-speaking communities.
Many African royal lineages are passed down through oral tradition, which can lead to gaps in historical records and a loss of cultural identity over time. There is a lack of well-structured digital platforms where communities can explore their leadership heritage in a visually engaging and informative way.
